In anticipation to various activities that could take place at Lincoln Park Golf Course (S.F.) a system was constructed that would determine the creation of a drawing.

According to the pre-constructed system, the color, quality and location of each mark was determined by specific events that transpired at Lincoln Park Golf Course.
There was a wide variety of specific events that determined the marks, such as

* The color of a golfers tee
* The number of practice swings that a golfer takes
* The number of steps a golfer takes between shots
* The direction a golfer lays down the flagstick
* The direction that a golfer hits the ball
* Double or single toned golf shoes
* Use of verbal noises in reaction to his golf shot.
