Level 3 Instructions

1. Watch the Videos (LinkedIn Learning – HTML Essential Training by Jen Simmons)

2. Learn HTML Syntax

• Watch: The Syntax of HTML Elements 

3. Edit the Template in Visual Studio Code

• Open the index template from your directory packet.

• Inside the section, create two paragraphs:

   

  • Paragraph 1: Define what an element is.

  • Paragraph 2: Define what nesting is.

4. Save Your Work

• Use Command + S (or enable Auto Save under File > Auto Save).

6. Preview Your Webpage

• Use Command + Shift + V to preview how your page looks in the browser.

• Confirm your paragraphs display correctly.

7. Save Final File

• Go to File > Save As.

• Save the file as: index_level3.html (replace if prompted).

8. Submit Your Work

• Compress (zip) the file.

• Email it to your instructor.
