Situating Text and Self is a student organized book club created by Diego Vergara. This book club analyzes and locates text regarding relationships involved with gender /sexuality. Book club discussions were held in public bookstores and libraries as an active effort to disrupt the knowledge provided by the books within the establishment.
Folks from "Situating Text and Self" also created an installation that promoted the idea of all-gender bathrooms at the bathroom entrances of Greensboro Project Space, an offsite UNCG building.
